COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT COMMITTEE
The purpose of the Community Engagement Committee is to advise the University and make recommendations regarding the policies, curricular enhancements, and campus and community events designed to foster Community Engagement.

Decision-Making & Voting Right
The committee adopts a collaborative decision-making approach, ensuring that every member with voting rights has the ability to influence specific decisions. A simple majority, defined as more than 50%, is necessary for the approval of any given decision.
Responsibilities
Advise on the development, monitoring, and review of the University’s community engagement goals.
Advise on community engagement priorities and projects.
Advise, where appropriate, on internal policies and practices relevant to community engagement activities.
Facilitate effective community engagement links between colleges.
Facilitate effective community engagement links between the University and the external communities.
Undertake research in the area of community engagement activities.
Submit annual report about the activities undertaken and its impact on the community.
Evaluate the effectiveness of Community Engagement activities.
