UNIVERSITY ASSESSMENT COMMITTEE
The Committee coordinates to develop a student assessment system in the university based on international best practices and best evidence available in the current literature and monitor the quality of the assessment system across all colleges of the university.

The Committee consists of members who are chairmen of the College Assessment Committees.

The Committee shall meet once every two months and as and when required.

Decision-Making & Voting Right
The committee adopts a collaborative decision-making approach. Every member has voting rights including students. A simple majority, defined as more than 50%, is necessary for the approval of any given decision.
Responsibilities
Develop a University programmatic assessment system with the required contextualization within each college program.
Receive from assessment committees of colleges updates about the implementation of programmatic assessment activities.
Ensure the appropriateness and relevance of the University’s assessment activity to national Standards for Institutional Licensure and Program Accreditation as well as relevant international accreditation standards.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators of the quality of the student assessment in the University and recommend the necessary interventions.
