Responsibilities
Lead and manage the E-Learning team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment focused on enhancing the university's online learning offerings.
Develop and implement a comprehensive e-learning strategy aligned with the university's educational mission and IT strategic plan.
Oversee the selection, implementation, and ongoing support of learning management systems (LMS) and other e-learning technologies.
Manage and prioritize e-learning development projects, ensuring timely delivery, user adoption, and successful integration with existing systems.
Collaborate with faculty to develop high-quality online courses and learning materials, incorporating best practices in instructional design and pedagogy.
Advocate for the strategic use of e-learning technologies and spearhead initiatives to promote faculty development in online teaching methodologies.
Stay current on emerging trends in e-learning and learning technologies, identifying new opportunities to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
Analyze data on e-learning platform usage to identify areas for improvement and optimize the user experience.
Manage relationships with external vendors of e-learning technologies, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to contracts.
Develop and implement policies and procedures for e-learning development, quality assurance, and accessibility.
Oversee the delivery of ongoing support services for faculty and students using e-learning platforms.
Advocate for the use of technology in education and ensure clear communication of e-learning policies, procedures, and resources to the university community.
