  • Responsible to establish HR objectives in line with the organizational objective.

  • Responsible for identifying and addressing HR issues, contributing information, analysis and recommendation to organization strategic direction.

  • Ensure implementation of HR strategies by establishing accountabilities.

  • Manage HR operations by planning, monitoring, counseling, disciplining, appraising and reviewing staff contributions; maintaining compensation and benefit, determining productivity, quality and employee relation strategies, resolving problems and implementing change for continuous improvement.

  • Develops HR operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting and anticipating requirements, trends and variances, developing action plans, measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions and minimizing the impact of variances.

  • Supports management by providing HR advice by analyzing information and applications.

  • Complies with all the regulatory requirements for the existing business and also for the upcoming new projects if any. 

  • Ensure the basic compensation and benefits policies and procedures are in place.

  • Responsible in designing, overseeing and implementing the compensation and benefits program for Thumbay Group by monitoring the job market, the modern trends in the compensation and finding the best practice for the implementation in the organization without the major impact on the personnel expenses costs.

  • Monitor salary structures, market benchmarking, balance staffing needs with cost controls, and help ensure that policies, procedures and programs are in alignment with the organization’s overall strategic objectives and HR vision.

  • Manages the relationship of the C&B department with other HR units/employees and ensures the policies and procedures set are being followed.

  • Monitors the job market, the modern trends in the compensation and carries out various analysis to find the best practice for the implementation of Compensation and benefits program in the organization.

  • Prepares the budget for the related areas including salaries, bonus, increments, incentives etc. and suggest recommendations based on the analysis report.

  • Manages different compensation components of the salary and provides suggestion for implementation with the flexibility while keeping the internal equity and the external competitiveness in mind.

  • Ensuring that the pay practices comply with UAE laws and regulations and liaison with the relevant ministry.

  • Monitoring government regulations, legislation, and benefits trends and keep abreast with the latest in practice.

  • Processes and tracks the Employee exit with full and final settlements including all the benefits as per policy.

  • Carries out analysis of the compiled exit interview feedbacks and monitor for continuous improvement. Employee attendance and leave management

  • Ensure that attendance management system is effective and efficient to monitor the staff movement and their monthly attendance.

  • Ensure leave management is as per the policy and educate department heads to plan the departmental activities with proper leave management.

  • Ensuring cordial relations with employees at all levels

  • Responsible to manage all Unit HR and ensure full compliance to all Unit HR activities and cordial relations at unit level.

  • Ensure the staff request is processed within standard timeline.

  • Meet all the stakeholders on a regular basis and ensure the concerns/issues if any are addressed without further escalation.

  • Create a healthy and work friendly environment by focusing on employee happiness 

  • Develop an organizational culture of employee empowerment and invest in employee growth for people happiness. 

  • Ensure employee awareness on the grievance redressal protocol.

  • Responsible to ensure addressing of the employee grievances promptly and ensure resolution of the same within the defined timeline.

  • Educate departmental heads on the grievance redressal using a fair judgement mechanism.

  • Ensure following a standard disciplinary proceeding to address noncompliance to the regulations or policies by the employees. 

  • Implement the proceedings based on the principles of natural justice.

  • Takes preventive and corrective action to increase the discipline within the organization. 

  • Responsible for smooth transfer of employees within units. 

  • Ensure retention of exceptional talent.

  • Monitor the employee attrition of each department.

  • Conducts exit interviews and carries out exit analysis.

  • Takes necessary action to reduce the attrition and provides recommendations for implementation. 

  • Monitors the departmental quality indicators for each service and ensure within the benchmark for better quality of service always.

  • Monitors the entire HR processes in line with the standard operating procedure.

  • Develops and implements process improvisation and innovation on a regular basis to improve quality and people happiness.

  • Monitors and ensures equitable treatment and fairness in all the engagements.

  • Audits the internal processes and improves the system accordingly with minimal risk.

  • Monitors and ensure the implementation of processes as per the accreditation requirement.

  • Mentors the team for achieving the departmental objective along with continuous quality improvement.
